Robert J. Weiler joined The Robert Weiler Company in 1957. A graduate of the University of Arizona with honors, Dr. Weiler received a Masters Degree from The Ohio State University in Real Estate in 1964 and a Doctorate Degree in Finance in 1968. In 1983, Dr. Weiler was awarded a Juris Doctorate Degree from Capital University Law School and was admitted to the Ohio Bar that same year. Dr. Weiler has also received his MAI and SREA designations. Active in the Columbus community, Dr. Weiler has served as President of the Columbus Board of Education and has been a board member, trustee or director for many organizations including: Capital University, Center of Science and Industry, the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission, Pilot Dogs, Inc., and Columbus Metropolitan YMCA. He has served as a founder and President of the I Know I Can board.

Frank graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio Northern University in 1992. In 2002, he was awarded a Juris Doctorate Degree from Capital University Law School and was later admitted to the Ohio Bar. He has been a real estate appraiser since 1992 and is a Certified General Appraiser with the State of Ohio. Frank specializes in complex real estate valuations for eminent domain, ad valorem tax, and special purpose matters for court testimony. Frank is active in the real estate and law community. His affiliations include the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Columbus Bar Association, the National Association of Realtors, the Ohio Association of Realtors, and the Columbus Board of Realtors.

Patty Costello graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Philosophy and Religion. She minored in Chemistry. Patricia has taken numerous appraisal classes sponsored by the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers, the Society of Real Estate Appraisers, and the Appraisal Institute. Patty has a wide range of appraisal experience, including multi-family, industrial, commercial, office, special purpose properties, and subdivision analysis. Her clients have included State Farm Insurance, Aenta Insurance, major banks, departments of education, the City of Columbus, attorneys, etc.

Carolyn M. Schmitz graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Business Administration majoring in Marketing and Sales. She has completed numerous appraisal courses sponsored by the Appraisal Institute and is continuing her education by attending real estate seminars and workshops. Her work encompasses appraisals, consulting, and feasibility studies. Her real estate valuation experience includes the appraisal of commercial and office buildings, single and multi-family residential properties, potential development land, and other special purpose properties. She serves a broad client base including mortgage lenders, attorneys, and property owners. Carolyn has nine years of experience as a legal assistant specializing in commercial real estate research for ad valorem tax purposes.

Melissa Dean-Rife has been specializing in real estate appraisal for the past six years. Her real estate valuation experience includes commercial and office buildings, single and multi-family residential properties, potential development land, special purpose properties, and eminent domain. She has completed numerous appraisal courses sponsored by the Appraisal Institute and is continuing her education by attending real estate seminars and workshops. Melissa is in the process of completing her college degree majoring in Real Estate and Finance.

Keith Iuler graduated from the Ohio State University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and currently serves as staff appraiser with The Robert Weiler Company. Keith's real estate valuation experience includes eminent domain appraisals; single and multi family residential properties; commercial, office and industrial buildings; potential development land, and special purpose properties. Keith has completed numerous courses sponsored by the Appraisal Institute and is continuing his education by attending additional real estate courses and seminars. In addition to Keith's appraisal services, he is also a licensed real estate agent in the sate of Ohio. Professional affiliations include the National Association of Realtors, the Ohio Association of Realtors, and the Columbus Board of Realtors.

Alysia Jackson joined The Robert Weiler Company in July of 2002. She is the Appraisal Assistant to Patricia Costello and Carolyn Schmitz. Alysia also volunteers her time at the Capital Area Humane Society and works with children in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio mentoring program.

Jane E. Landwehr graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology. She joined The Robert Weiler Company in 2005 after owning and operating a used and rare bookstore for over eleven years. Jane is the executive assistant to Robert J. Weiler, Sr. and also assists in the research and preparation of appraisal reports.

Mike graduated from the University of Dayton in 2004 with a degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance. He is currently pursuing his MBA at Franklin University with a focus in Finance. He has been a full time real estate appraiser since 2004 and is a Certified General Appraiser with the State of Ohio. He has completed several courses sponsored by the Appraisal Institute and continues to attend real estate courses and seminars.
Real estate valuation experience includes appraisal of commercial, industrial, and office properties, multi-family housing projects, service stations, salvage yards, special purpose properties, and commercial, industrial, and development land.
Mike’s affiliations include National Association of Realtors, Ohio Association of Realtors, and the Columbus Board of Realtors.

Andre’ D. Dowdy specializes in multi-family property sales and has conducted appraisals of various types of commercial and residential properties for over twelve years. His real estate valuation experience includes eminent domain work, commercial and office buildings, single and multi-family residential properties, potential development land, special purpose properties, and probate estate valuations.
Prior to joining The Robert Weiler Company in May of 2007, Andre’ owned his own appraisal firm for eight years. Andre’ graduated from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio with a degree in Business Management/Marketing. As a state certified appraiser, he is a member of the Appraisal Institute, The National Association of Realtors, the Ohio Association of Realtors, and the Columbus Board of Realtors.
Involved in the community, Andre’ serves on the Board of Directors for the Columbus Compact Corporation
